Recycled materials really are fun to craft with, we thought Cork Craft Ideas would be a great next project to explore. I am quite lucky that friends and relatives collect their corks for us, so we do have quite a cork stash!! Plenty of opportunity for making!! I didn't want to limit my kids' creativity by telling them what they should make and simply set out all the supplies (e.g., corks, push pins, pipe cleaners), encouraged them to build whatever they wanted, and provided some inspiration via these corkers from Paper Source. It's Christmas!
Can you believe Christmas is already HERE!?!?! It is my absolute favorite holiday and I have more Christmas ornaments and Santas than I care to admit...On the other hand, I only own ONE Christmas wreath...Why? probably because we only have one front door ;) Well, I decided to make a wine cork wreath to help me decorate the dining room. I am not one to brag, but I do think this wine cork wreath turned out really cute!!! Truth be told, it was actually quite easy, and very cheap.Wine cork christmas trees

With the holiday shopping season under way, business has been good at The Wooden Bee. We can’t seem to keep our coaster set kits in stock & we have been busy making new inventory from our recycled wood! Every week we are posting new inventory, so be sure to check in often & see where the wood is taking us!
After many suggestions & encouragement from our customers & friends, we are going to start posting our crafting ideas on our blog as well! So, here is our first holiday craft of the season! Special thanks to my artist friend Jami J. for her inspiration!
