It's Christmas! Wine Cork Christmas Wreath
2014-12-18

It's Christmas!
Can you believe Christmas is already HERE!?!?! It is my absolute favorite holiday and I have more Christmas ornaments and Santas than I care to admit...On the other hand, I only own ONE Christmas wreath...Why? probably because we only have one front door ;) Well, I decided to make a wine cork wreath to help me decorate the dining room. I am not one to brag, but I do think this wine cork wreath turned out really cute!!! Truth be told, it was actually quite easy, and very cheap.Recycled materials really are fun to craft with [video]

I didn't want to limit my kids' creativity by telling them what they should make and simply set out all the supplies (e.g., corks, push pins, pipe cleaners), encouraged them to build whatever they wanted, and provided some inspiration via these corkers from Paper Source. The kids loved them, and the corkers helped get the creative process started. - See more at:Beautiful ornaments with corks

Beautiful ornaments with corks
Christmas will be upon us, which means it's time to get the Christmas tree and those ornaments out! How about an easy wine cork ornament project today? This requires no special skills, just a hot glue gun and just a little wee bit of creativity ~ I don't consider myself the creative type and still was able to manage these ornaments :)Lovely small christmas trees

With the holiday shopping season under way, business has been good at The Wooden Bee. We can’t seem to keep our coaster set kits in stock & we have been busy making new inventory from our recycled wood! Every week we are posting new inventory, so be sure to check in often & see where the wood is taking us!
After many suggestions & encouragement from our customers & friends, we are going to start posting our crafting ideas on our blog as well! So, here is our first holiday craft of the season! Special thanks to my artist friend Jami J. for her inspiration!
